**Hotel Review** I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and from start to finish, my experience was nothing short of exceptional. The service was excellent, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The hotel’s location is superb, offering easy access to key attractions and ensuring convenience throughout my trip. It’s only 5 minutes walk to the beach. Cleanliness was clearly a top priority, as the rooms and common areas were immaculate and well-maintained. Special mention must go to the professional and courteous staff, especially Miss Maria at reception. She was incredibly supportive and went above and beyond to assist us, displaying true professionalism and dedication to guest satisfaction. I would also like to extend my gratitude to the General Manager, Ivy, and the owner, Mr. Richard, who made our stay even more memorable. Their personal involvement, including upgrading our room, ensured that we were more than comfortable and felt truly valued as guests. Overall, I strongly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking excellent service, a prime location, and a team that is committed to going the extra mile to make your stay unforgettable. I look forward to returning!

Amazing hotel right in the middle of Newquay! Incredible views from breakfast and the rooms. Swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room all available to use at your fancy with extra towels included. No lifeguard so if you have kids you have to watch them. Breakfast could fully cater for gluten free and was delicious! An absolute brilliant stay for very cheap. Perfect for surfers as you can walk to the beach and also easily get to Fistral North.

We stayed off season in February for my birthday, it was absolutely lovely! Staff were helpful and friendly, location... obviously amazing. Right next to all the shops and restaurants. Pub adjoining with a great Thai takeaway van also next to it. Can't wait to come back in the summer and look forward to seeing what it's like when it's busy! Fantastic value, great atmosphere and I loved the building itself too, a beautiful place.

I didn't stay here but we came for drinks one day and then I came back the next day to have coffee and admire the beautiful view of the coast from the back of the hotel. It does seem a little tired but so comfortable and the staff really made it for us. Nina was just lovely and recognised me when I came back. So so nice. I don't know what the bedrooms are like or the food but the prices look good and you get such a nice welcome.

Stayed here the beginning of December. Only booked their basic Standard Room which surprisingly was quite large with a nice side view, we could even see glimpses of the sea. Clean, comfortable bed, kettle with teas/coffees and good sized ensuite. The hotel is beautiful with a stunning staircase and high ceilings, yes it's a bit dated and in need of a bit of TLC but we loved it. Staff are friendly and the older gentlemen by the front door so kindly showed us around and told us a bit about the history. Thank you We were very pleased to find the lift now working. Pool was open till 10pm and was amazing, big enough to have a good swim and surprisingly deep at 8ft. The relaxing jacuzzi is massive and really warm. Sauna was very clean, looks new to me. There was also a steam room. The changing rooms really need updating. Buffet breakfast was fantastic value at £5 each for a help yourself buffet of cereals, yogurt, breads, eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns, beans and mushrooms. Selection of teas. Coffee (sorry was terrible).

Stayed for a few days with my dad last week. It may be old fashioned but I enjoyed the charm of the place. Breakfast was basic but had amazing views. The hotel itself and the room was very clean. All the staff were very friendly, welcoming and help you with any queries. Would definitely stay again.

Location top for town and the coast, staff great, breakfast was pretty standard buffet English and continental but ticked all the boxes and had a nice view, I'd get again for sure. Pool area was a bit tired and after 1 use I didn't go back down, Sauna was hardly hot at all. Pretty old school building which I enjoyed. Room was pretty basic but nothing to complain about at all. I'd come again as it was a work trip and I didn't spend much time in the room anyway.
